Things to do in Lincolshire…
Costa Coffee has launched a limited edition autumn menu that is available in stores nationwide from Thursday, September 5.
Fans of the autumn selection will be pleased to learn that a popular handcrafted drink, first introduced in 2018, is making a return.
The Bonfire Spiced Trio is back including the Bonfire Spiced Latte.
This is a firm favourite handcrafted using Costa Coffee’s signature Mocha Italia blend. With its signature spicy punch, it also has a rich caramel toffee flavour, with a sprinkle of cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and ginger, all topped with a dash of caramel and cinnamon.
The Bonfire Spiced Hot Chocolate and Bonfire Spiced Cold Brew variants are also making a comeback.
For Costa Coffee’s vegan fans, the entire Bonfire Spiced range can be made vegan-friendly this year, thanks to a new and improved syrup recipe. Vegan coffee lovers can switch to one of four dairy alternatives including almond and coconut milk.
The new menu also sees Costa Coffee partner with Lotus Biscoff, the brand behind the iconic ‘little red biscuit’, to launch a limited-edition Lotus Biscoff Muffin.
Exclusive to Costa Coffee, the spiced muffin contains a surprise at its centre of Lotus Biscoff spread and is topped with smooth toffee icing and an actual Lotus Biscoff biscuit.
- Old favourites and new indulgent sweet treats are on offer as part of the menu, including the new Vegan Chocolate, Caramel and Hazelnut Cookie offering a mouth-wateringly gooey texture and added crunch.
- Also new is the Chocolate and Caramel Bun – a balance of chocolatey indulgence and caramel sweetness.
- Alternatively, customers can grab a slice of Seriously Chocolate Cake, made of rich chocolate sponge topped with salted caramel and chocolate fudge icing with a sprinkling of chocolate curls.
Price reduction this autumn
Costa Coffee is reducing the price of its Premium Filter Coffee for a few months.
Coffee lovers can buy a premium quality, handcrafted cup of coffee for £1, or only 75p if using a reusable coffee cup, until the October 31.
There is also a new premium coffee on offer this season, too.
The Ethiopian Character Roast is made from 100% single origin arabica beans from Ethiopia, and the character roast boasts subtle floral aromas and tastes of wild berries, with a hint of caramel and a touch of tropical citrus fruits.
Customers can have any handcrafted coffee on the menu made with the limited-edition Ethiopian Character Roast, for an additional 30p a cup.
Finally, Costa Coffee is extending its lunch deal, which will now be from 11am until close, giving customers more time to grab a sandwich, panini or soup, with a snack and a drink – all for £4.95.
The offer, which was previously only available between 11am-2pm, also includes a new range such as the Roasted Carrot and Coriander Soup and Bolognese Mac and Cheese.
