Things to do in Lincolshire…
Tickets for a Christmas experience, which offers children the chance to enter the Elf Academy and even meet Santa, have gone on sale.
Bookings can now be made online with a 10 per cent discount throughout September for Christmas at Rand Farm Park.
The main event is The Real Christmas Experience, described as an immersive festive journey through themed zones.
As part of the experience little ones will be able to decorate a gingerbread biscuit with Mrs Claus, walk through a 3D Enchanted Forest, learn to be a real elf in Elf Academy and enrol in Santa’s music school before meeting the man himself and choosing a toy from his Magical Toyshop.
As well as all the Christmas activities, year-round favourites such as animal handling and bottle feeding are included in the admission price.
The Real Christmas Experience will be open from November 23 to December 23 (tickets: from free to £27.95).
On Rand Farm Park’s Facebook page, social media users who visited The Real Christmas Experience last year shared their feedback. Under a post dated December 6, 2018, Michelle Mccormack wrote: “We went last Sunday, and absolutely loved it. My daughter thought it was amazing and Mrs Claus is wonderful. We will be back.”
Emma Clark added: “Worth every penny! We had a great time – very magical!”
Another Christmas treat at the farm is the chance to have Breakfast with Santa on Saturday and Sunday, December 21 and 22 at 9am or 9.30am before skipping the queues to visit his grotto. Only available by booking online (tickets: free to £25.25).
This year the venue is also once again hosting The Most Magical Morning of All on Christmas Eve to celebrate the finale of the Christmas Experience. Booking in advance online is essential, The Most Magical Morning of All includes the entire Rand Farm Park Christmas Experience plus extra surprises for all children. (Tickets: from free to £27.95).
Finally, for the first time the park will host a Christmas-themed Date Night, where grown-ups can enjoy The Real Christmas Experience during an adults-only evening on Friday, December 13 (6pm-9pm). Tickets: £20 a couple, or individual tickets £10 each.
