Events: Will it still be raining for the Lincolnshire Show 2019?

Things to do in Lincolshire…

Lincolnshire has been hit by some pretty dire weather over the past few days, and forecasts suggests the rain will be with us for a while yet.

All this has left people wondering ‘will the weather have improved by the Lincolnshire Show?’

This year’s event will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, June 19 and 20 at the Lincolnshire Showground, and will feature special celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, the charity that organises the event.

It wouldn’t be the first time inclement weather had ruined the event, heavy rain blighted day two of the 128th Lincolnshire Show in 2012 and no-one wants to see a repeat of that.

So what do the 10-day forecasts predict for Lincoln on June 19 and 20?

At the moment, on the downside, the outlook for rain isn’t great, especially on the first day.

But, on the bright side, temperatures look good.

Wednesday, June 19

  • Chance of rain 70%. High 20°C. Winds SSE at 15 to 25 km/h.

Thursday, June 20

  • Chance of rain 60%. Afternoon showers. High 20°C. Winds WSW at 15 to 25 km/h.
