A driver and their passenger had a lucky escape when a car hit a kerb, flipped onto its side and knocked down part of a wall.
The red car became wedged between a telegraph pole and a brick gatepost during the incident which happened in York Street, Boston, at about 8.30pm.
Witnesses said the “two youngsters” in the car appeared shaken but otherwise unharmed and sat on a wall as the police spoke to them.
Dog walker Paul Green posted on Facebook that he heard a “massive bang” and that the occupants had a “lucky escape”.
And resident Kylie Gill told Lincolnshire Live: “We were dropping off a friend and saw police car blue lights as we drove down York Street.
“As we pulled around the police car I saw a young couple sat on the wall of a house nearly opposite Spain Lane.
“It was then I was shocked when I realised part of the wall was knocked down and a red car was laid on its side between the telegraph pole and wall, right on the pavement.
“The passenger side was on the pavement with the wheels and undercarriage facing the road.
“The kids looked uninjured but shaken up from the glances I got.”
The crash happened on Monday, September 9.
A police spokesman said: “This is a single vehicle collision was reported to us at 8.40pm and happened at the corner of York Street with Pilgrim Road.
“The vehicle had hit a kerb and flipped onto its side, colliding with a wall which was damaged.
“Thankfully no one was injured.”
