News: Cyclist sent ‘flying in the air’ after crash with van near Lincoln

A cyclist has been flung in the air after a crash with a van near Lincoln, according to an eyewitness.

Police were called to the collision in London Road, Bracebridge Heath just after 12pm yesterday, Tuesday, August 13.

Paramedics also attended the scene.

 

One witness told how she saw the cyclist go ‘up in the air’.

Police have revealed that the cyclist required hospital treatment.

A force spokesperson said: “The RTC was reported at 12:09 on London Road involved a cyclist and a van. 

“The cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries.”

The incident did cause some delays in the area but the traffic is free-flowing again today.
