News: Emergency services called to the scene of two-vehicle crash outside Butlin’s

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a two vehicle crash blocking a busy road in Skegness.

Police and ambulance were called to Roman Bank in the seaside resort just after 4pm today, Monday, May 20.

A video of the scene shows police blocking off one lane of the road and directing traffic.

Two police cars and a LIVES first responder were both at the scene.

One local on social media said: “Been an accident on Roman Bank! Outside Butlin’s. So try to avoid.”

Another said: “I hope everyone involved is OK.”

The crash was causing delays along the busy route just outside of Butlin’s with police officers at the scene.

It is not yet clear the extent of any injuries.

Lincolnshire Police have been contacted for more information.
