News: Festivals and roadworks to close roads across the county

Another Lincolnshire Highlights news story…

Festivals and roadworks in Lincolnshire are set to close roads across the county in the week ahead.

Asylum, which is one of the world’s largest steampunk festivals, is set to take place in Lincoln from Friday, August 24 to Sunday, August 26.

The three day event, which will see numerous street stalls set up in the city, will lead to the closure of four roads and traffic restrictions put in place on several others.

Elsewhere, the Lost Village Festival near Witham St Hughs, Norton Disney and Swinderby will lead four days of traffic restrictions being put in place from Thursday, August 22 to Sunday.

There will also be restrictions in place in North Thoresby on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, due to a 1940’s event being hosted in the village.
