Supermarkets have been forced to pull items from the shelves over safety concerns because of undeclared ingredients and incorrect labelling.

Items affected by recalls include burgers, hot cross buns, soup and popcorn.

The Food Standards Agency has advised anyone with any of the items affected to not eat them and to return them to store for a full refund.

So which products are affected by the recall by supermarkets? Here’s everything you need to know.

Cook Green Thai Chicken Curry

The product being recalled

 

COOK Trading Ltd is recalling Green Thai Chicken Curry because it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Lidl burgers

Lidl GB is recalling its SPEEDFEAST Quarter Pounder with Cheese because an incorrect base label has been applied to the product.

The product contains egg, milk and sesame which are not mentioned in the ingredients list.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or milk or milk constituents and/or an allergy to sesame.

Sainsbury’s Hot cross buns

The item being recalled

 

Sainsbury’s is recalling Deliciously Free From 4 Fruity Hot Cross Buns by Sainsbury’s because they may contain chocolate chips which are milk free but contain traces of soya which is not declared on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya.

Waitrose soup

Waitrose is recalling Waitrose Sweet Potato & Coconut Soup and Waitrose Roasted Tomato, Bean & Quinoa Soup because some of the pots have been filled with an incorrect product which contains soya that is not mentioned on the labels.

This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya.
