News: Man, 30, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder as woman is injured after car veers off A15

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a car left the road on the A15.

Police were called after the vehicle left the road at Waddingham at around 11.30pm last night, Thursday, September 12.

A woman driving the car sustained minor injuries, police have revealed.

However, the force has said the incident is not being treated as a crash.

 

Police have said that the 30-year-old man, who was a passenger in the car, remains in police custody and will be questioned in due course.

The road has been closed but is expected to reopen soon as the vehicle has been recovered, but there are some delays in the area.

Google traffic data did show queues were minimal as of 10.47am this morning, Friday, September 13.
