A man accused of murdering his mother and her partner in a bungalow near Lincoln has appeared before a judge at Lincoln Crown Court.

Andrei-Mihai Simion-Munteanu, 22, of Lincoln Road, Branston, is charged with the murders of Premm Leela Monti, 51, originally from Romania, and Robert Tully, 71, originally from the United States, between July 27 and 30 this year.

Simion-Munteanu was charged after the discovery of two bodies at a bungalow in Lincoln Road, Branston, on the morning of August 5.

The Romanian national appeared in court by video link and spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and nationality during the 10 minute hearing.


No charges were put to him and there was no application for bail.

He was remanded in custody by Judge John Pini QC to appear back at the crown court for a case management hearing on December 10.


His trial is scheduled to begin on February 3 next year.
