An air ambulance has been called to a residential street after an incident in Long Sutton.
Police were called to an address in Anfield Road after reports of a disturbance at 9.41am this morning, Thursday, September 12.
When officers arrived they found a man allegedly smashing up a garden using a lump hammer.
He was arrested but then appeared to be having a medical episode so an air ambulance was called.
It landed nearby, but was not needed as the man quickly recovered, the force has revealed.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were called today at 09:41 to a disturbance at Anfield Road, Long Sutton.
“A 30-year-old man who was arrested at the scene, then appeared to be suffering a medical episode and air ambulance was deployed.
“However the man quickly recovered and after being assessed fit by medical staff, he was taken into custody.”
Police have since revealed the man has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 10.07am this morning to Long Sutton, Spalding to assist with a medical emergency.
“We sent a crewed ambulance and the air ambulance.”
