A man has been charged after the theft of two watches worth £2,000 in Lincoln.

Robert Lowe, of Carr Street, Lincoln, has been charged in connection with the theft of the two watches, from Ernest Jones jewellers in Lincoln High Street.

In the theft, which took place yesterday, Monday, September 9 at around 12.30pm, two watches with a combined value of £2,000 were stolen. 

The 41-year-old was arrested in Lucy Tower Street shortly after the incident.

He has since been remanded in custody and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court today, Tuesday, September 10.

Anyone with information about the incident can call police on 101 quoting Incident 183 of September 9.
