News: Police and paramedics rush in after crash between car and pedestrian

Police have been called to a crash between a car and a pedestrian.

Officers were scrambled after the collision in Roman Bank, Skegness at 1.32pm yesterday, Sunday, August 11.

A large amount of police were spotted at the scene along with paramedics.

 

A witness told Lincolnshire Live : “It seemed to be a youngish man laying on the floor being treated by paramedics.

“There were lots of police around.”

Police have revealed that no one was seriously injured as a result of the incident.

A force spokesperson said: “Incident 177 of Sunday, August 11 refers to a minor injury collision on Roman Bank involving a car and a pedestrian.

“It was reported at 1.32pm.”

The road was partially blocked but was cleared for motorists at around 2pm.

 

The incident occurred just a few hours before a similar incident involving two pedestrians and a car in Lincoln.

One of the women was airlifted to QMC as a result of the collision in Tritton Road and another woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Police have confirmed the incident was serious.
