News: Police called after man is accused of attacking a BUS in busy street

Police had to be called to the scene after reports of a man attacking a bus in a busy street.

Officers were called at 11.27am today, Thursday, July 11 to reports of a man causing a disturbance in Horncastle where a bus was damaged.

The incident occurred at a busy time in the Market Place.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and police are now appealing for any witnesses who saw the incident at the time.

A statement from the force said: “Officers investigating would like to hear from anyone who believes they have information that could help the enquiry.

“You may have captured the incident on your mobile phone in which case we would urge you to call 101 with incident number 140.”
