A man has been seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash near Lincoln.

Officers were called after a collision between a black Toyota Yaris and a purple Ford Fusion at Mill Hill, Nettleham at 7.50pm last night, Thursday, September 12.

The suburban street where the collision occurred is not far from the busy village square.

The Ford ended up crashing into the bollards of the Co-operative store while the Toyota went into a beck near the Scout hut.

Police have revealed that the man driving the Ford was seriously injured and has been taken to Lincoln County Hospital.

 

The force are keen to speak to any witnesses of the collision and say the road was busy at the time of the crash.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police added: “We would also like to speak to the owners of two vehicles which were parallel parked opposite the scout hut, behind a silver Ford Fusion.”
