A woman has been named and charged after an emergency worker was assaulted in Lincoln.

Emergency services were called to an incident in the city on Monday, August 19.

Anne Marie Bradburn has now been charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and one count of failing to provide a specimen.

The 49-year-old of St Martin’s Close in Blyton has been bailed to appear before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on September 19.

 

In another, unconnected incident on the same day, police closed off Spa Street in the city and a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

One man was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

The street was closed between the junctions with Monks Road and Winn Street with a scene guard in place.
