Lincoln City fans have reacted to the news that Danny Cowley looks set to become the new manager of Huddersfield Town.
Danny Cowley arrived with his brother Nicky at Sincil Bank in 2016 and has oversaw the club’s return to the Football League and subsequent promotion to League One.

Imps fans have reacted to the news of Cowley’s imminent departure this morning.
David Peat said: “Risky move by Danny Cowley, but an opportunity given the the infrastructure and foundations at Huddersfield to build something there.
“Big loss to Lincoln City but he leaves the club in a much better position than he found it.”
“He should stay at Lincoln City,” said Carlos Fenton.
“Huddersfield are in freefall.”
The Terriers currently sit second bottom of the table in the Championship, having drawn one and lost five of their opening six games.
Imps fan James wrote: “Seems it’s done then. Gutted.
“Danny and Nicky will forever be Lincoln City heroes.”
Kath said: “Whatever happens, us fans need to show the lads we are still here and fully behind them.”
Jon Bigger (@TheJonBigger on Twitter) believes the pair have ‘earned their chance’ in the Championship after their efforts in charge of the club.
“I don’t think Lincoln City will ever get anyone quite like Danny Cowley again,” he wrote.
“He’s unique. It’s been an amazing era for the club.
“If it’s coming to an end here’s hoping we get more amazing times with someone else. Danny and Nicky have earned their chance.”
