Nolan interested in job
Former Notts County manager Kevin Nolan is understood to be keen to talk to Lincoln City about succeeding Danny Cowley as manager at Sincil Bank
Speculation over the identity of the next Imps boss is already under way, with Wycombe’s Gareth Ainsworth, Newport’s Michael Flynn, Phil Parkinson and Nigel Adkins among the early front-runners, according to bookmakers.
And Lincolnshire Live understands the ex-Newcastle, West Ham and Bolton midfielder would be interested in the Sincil Bank post.
Nolan had a brief spell as player-manager at Leyton Orient during the 2015/16 season.
After calling time on his playing career, he was appointed Notts manager in January 2017, saving the Magpies from relegation and then leading them to the League Two play-offs the following season, working with current Imps players Michael O’Connor and Jorge Grant.
